Understanding what you need to register for is a lot harder when you don’t know where you’re going to live! Matt and I started off by spending half an hour with a registry consultant at the Bay to plan the perfect registry. Once we answered some very difficult questions about what we had and what we needed we were set loose with a barcode scanner gun to pick out everything our hearts desired. After two hours in one of the largest department stores in Canada we got almost everything we needed. Matt did stop me a couple of times from getting carried away. He wouldn’t let me scan a tablecloth because we don’t own a dinning room table or curtains because we don’t have any windows either. Overall, we had a lot of fun and we agreed on almost everything for our new home. Now, I can’t wait to register for my Birthday! That’s right…the Bay does gift registries for special occasions too
