I am sure you are all wondering why we picked www.clurko.com to post all of our wedding news. It all started on December 11, 2004 on our way to Amy (Matt’s cousin) and Bill’s wedding. We started to talk about what would happen if we ever decide to get married. Would I be Mrs. Clare? Wouldn’t people start to wonder why everyone called me Turkey? Matt being the silly person he is suggested that we simply combine our two last names (Clare and Turko) to create Clurko. It would be perfect…we could be Mr. & Mrs. Clurko. After hearing this story I am sure you can understand why it took us 8 years to get engaged! Matt still hasn’t given up on the idea of being Mr. & Mrs. Clurko and that is why we created this site.
